*Laughs* Come on... are you serious X had two times more romance then VIII, and IX had more romance then X and VIII put together.
X's ending was very well done (SPOILER) life isn't happily ever after
And IX wasn't love at first sight there was a slow build up of trust and dependence on each other, it fit the story very well.
