Ruby Weapon is EMPTY

I was fighting Ruby Weapon, trying to kill him by less usual means to what I normally did (in other words, no KotR) when this happened...

All he could do from then on was Ruby Flame and those swing attacks; no countering with Comet 2 and Ultima! What this implies, of course, is that I was fighting him for a damn long time and should have had the guy dead already, but whatever... It made me laugh.

On a side note, I attempted to do the same to Safer.Sephiroth, but after two hours I still didn't get anywhere so I just hammered him with Angermax and mimed it a couple times.

So does that mean he ran out of MP? Interesting, I've never fought a boss long enough for that to happen.

Bosses have MP!?

Yes, bosses have MP (try using Sense on 'em), apparently except for Safer.Sephiroth.

The most common one is for Jenova-LIFE to run out; again usually because it's an easy boss to play around with.

Actually, I take my words back. I remember fighting Yuffie's father, who keeps healing himself a lot. He has 1000 MP, so I use Magic Hammer on him ten times to drain all his MP to make him a lot easier since he can't cast spells or heal himself. So yes, bosses do have MP.

Hojo can't use Ethers. In fact, I can't think of any enemies that use items.

I believe I fought Ruby Weapon for over an hour once executing about 16 Omnislashes. Fair chance that it happened to me aswell but I never would have realised it
