Thread: The Lucky-7-effect

    Default The Lucky-7-effect

I was wondering if anyone knows about the Lucky-7-effect. Didn't find a thread.

    The Lucky-7-effect is:
If a character - through reducing or increasing of his hp - comes to 7777 hp, he falls into rage and does 7777 damage to the enemies
for the rest of the battle. Nothing can stop this effect until the enemies are dead.

If a character has 7,777 HP they will enter berserk mode and attack 64 times for 7,777 damage. If two or more people have 7,777 HP at the same time, they will share the 64 attacks between them.

The berserk mode will be removed if the character's HP changes. This can occur with some counterattacks, such as those performed by Ruby WEAPON.

If, after the berserk mode, the character still has 7,777 HP and the enemy is still alive, all attacks/spells/healing actions will be for 7,777 HP.

The only thing that can take precedence over the berserk mode is a Sneak Attack.

Enemies can also enter Lucky 7's, but fortunately they can't enter the berserk mode. This simply means that their attacks will deal 7,777 damage until their HP changes.

    Wow, very impressive!
    You know better than I.

Well next question. Do you use this effect? How do you make that a char comes to 7777 hp?

have a max HP of more than 7777, enter an battle against weak enemies, attack your own person until the last 2 numbers in their hp are 77, use healing items than heal by 100, 500, ect until it comes up to 7777

It all comes down to luck and HP manipulation.

    You can:

    - use this chart to see how much you need to increase/decrease your HP by to get 7,777,

    - have 9,999 HP and two materia equipped against Emerald WEAPON and wait for him to use Aire Tam Storm,

    - Get 9,999 HP and use Chocobuckle on yourself after running away 2,222 times (or 1,111 times and use it twice)

    - Use the Cat's Bell accessory to get the last two digits of your HP to 54, enter a battle and use Demi2 or Laser on yourself, then use Potions to increase the HP to 7,777.

There are other ways, but they are some of the more common ones.

i've found the easiest way is to cast mini on urself then attack for 1 damage until the last 2 digits are 77, then use potions and hi-potions to get to 7777. obviously the hundreds digit will have to be an odd number

Has anyone tried this on Ruby or Emerald weapon? Seems an incredibly quick and easy way to kill them.

emerald and ruby both have 1,000,000 HP. 64x777=not as much as one million. but it would be very useful anyway. can you get it twice in one battle? because if you have 2 peices of materia equipped with 9999HP and one of them is some sort of cure materia you could go into lucky 7's when emmy uses aire tam storm and then heal and wait for emerald to use it again. and im pretty certain that two lucky 7 beserks would defeat emerald weapon. ruby weapon will counter though and remove the lucky 7's beserk mode. but its a great help. if you use it in battle and the battle isnt over when 64 attacks are performed does the character's HP go down to 1?

I've done this by playing around with a few mastered HP Plus materia. I actually made Red XIII's max HP 7777, making him quite the powerhouse.

It's useful, but I don't find it that useful. You go back to 1 HP after battle if I remember correctly.

Ruby has 800,000, Emmy has 1,000,000.

No. You can only enter berserk mode oncer per battle.

No, the reduction in HP occurs after the battle.

I wouldn't use lucky 7 to defeat Ruby or Emerald. It sucks the fun out of the more traditional methods and the whole concept of materia combining and materia related strategies
