i agree. it never bugs me that much and has meaning. it doesnt deserve all of the complaints it gets. and that comic is amazing!

In Japanese it was something like "zuru-zuru, zuru-zuru", which means 'always drifting, always drifting' in translation. I guess it was an indicator for Cloud to stop drifting and face his fear. Aerith told him the same thing.
