School Bells ringin'!

Well, at my high school they don't. Instead of bells my highschool plays music in between each class/break/lunch.

What does/did your school use to inform the students that the period was over?

I had bells. Music would be pretty cool, I guess. Though it would depend on what kind of music they played.

It's a random tape. Students are allowed to bring in a tape for them to play in between classes and it is added to the collection. There is something like 1000 tapes or something crazy like that. You hear alot of old songs though, since they still have all the old students tapes!

Same as Hsu and I Took the Red Pill. I think I'd rather have a loud, obnoxious one like I had at a previous school. At least then I knew when it was time for class.

Long buzzer for the end of class. Short buzzer for one minute warning before the next class. Long buzzer for start of class.

At my highschool, they had bells for a while, but after they changed to some annoying beeping [img]/xxx.gif[/img][img]/xxx.gif[/img][img]/xxx.gif[/img][img]/xxx.gif[/img] that would beep like every one and a half seconds for about ten seconds or so. It was pure [img]/xxx.gif[/img][img]/xxx.gif[/img][img]/xxx.gif[/img][img]/xxx.gif[/img], so they changed to bells again.

Well in college of course those things don´t exist...but in my old highschool they had funky music playing.

My school certainly doesn't use music, but not a bell either... I don't know how to describe it - it's this monotone high-pitched sound that really has the tendency to get on one's nerves.

My school release fercious animals runing wild in the school to tell students that the period is over and they will be food for the animals if they do not hurry.
