    Default How do I...

    is there any way to get a sorta macro that allows it to repeat once activated?

    like... one that allows me to boost instantaniously once its regenerated?

    Well... maybe... Try this :

    /ja "Boost"<me>
    /wait 15
    /ja "Boost" <me>
    /wait 15
    /ja "Boost" <me>
    ...

    You will have to activate the macro after 3-4 times but well... better than nothing. :P

    Technically anything that would allow you to do that would be a bot >.>

    Either way, it's generally not advisable to boost every time boost is up. It tends to make hate less steady and the extra damage you do from a boost won't matter because in the time you spend boosting once you've missed 1-2 rounds of attacks that would do more DoT anyway.

    Boosting up before the mob gets to camp can be nice for a good jump start if your tank is quick to voke. Aim at boosting before WSs and between battles for the best results ^^

    I used to use a macro to boost every 15 seconds but then I heard about how it was a bad idea. I asked a 75 MNK friend of mine about it and he told me basically all I told you.

    ahhhh, I forgot about the small threat it generates while in battle...

    I guess I will follow Yearg-Sama's advice.

    Boost is a main reason why WAR/MNK is such a good hate holding tank at low levels (amongst the extra HP you gather from the subjob). Well, at least I've only known of WAR's tanking at low levels, none of them are willing enough at higher levels to actually use what their AF is for and sub MNK. They all want to be damage dealers (don't really have anything against that).

    I always had the mindset that WAR's were one of the most versitile melee jobs, but all they want to do is sub NIN and look cool with their axes. -_-;
