Incidentally, and OT: I was going to comment on the irony that Bobby McFerrin, the writer of the song "Don't Worry Be Happy" committed suicide, but after doing some quick research I see that this was just a rumor and that Mr. McFerrin is alive and kicking....though I'm not sure why kicking should be indicative of health.

I don't know if it's been posted, but to avoid hangovers completely, drink lots of water before you go to bed and take a glass up to your bedroom with you. It has never failed for me.
The hard part however is remebering to actaully do it...or keeping the water down if you've drank a lot.
