Pen and paper RPGs

Any of you play them? If so, which systems do you like?
I like the World of Darkness systems, but I've played a few D&D games too.

I played one or two games, but they were so long ago. Further more, all of us that were playing it were stoned at the time I played, so honestly, I can't recall much, though I do know it was D&D and we all had funny names...

I would like to play it again, however, and without weed and LSD interferring... Damned drugs... I can't understand where to cast Magic Missile!

I once had a basic AD&D box set as a child. I attempted to play it numerous times with my dad, who would sabotage the game so my party would die five minutes in because he didn't want to play. Lousy traumatic childhood!

I had my D&D days, but those days have passed. I would likely play again if I could find some friends who are geeky enough to take it seriously with me, though.
