What do you think of Batman Begins? I liked almost everything about that movie with the exception of the obligatory love interest Rachel Dawes. She irritated me to the point where I was smiling when the Scarecrow used nerve gas on her.(Sorry if I sound evil but she was more annoying than someone scratching a nail on a chalk board. ) And in my opinion she was uninteresting too because she wasn't from any of the Batman comic books...Rachel was just a female character that the screen play writer created for the movie so Bruce Wayne could have a love interest since every Batman film must have one. I think it would be cool if someone made a Batman movie that didn't have a love interest in it. I mean why does Batman need a love interest Luke Skywalker didn't have or need a love interest so why can't Batman go without one.

Ditto that. It was great except for Rachel Dawes. I actually might've almost liked her if she wasn't played by Katie Holmes. Who the hell cast her anyway? Her crooked mouth bugs the crap outta me. When Bruce hinted to her that he was Batman I was like "Yeah, suck on that you snotty bitch!"

As a side note, shortly after seeing this movie my now husband proposed to me. v(^o^)

It was okay, though I was disappointed by what they did with Ra's al Ghul...he's my favorite comic book supervillain, and they almost completely changed his character. Oh well... But overall, it was pretty nice.

It was nearly perfect except for the wierdness with Ra's at the end... was Ducard Ra's all along or was there some sort of mind transfer going on? Either way... it was crazy wierd. I also didn't like the end when Batman was like: "I won't kill you...but I don't have to save you." and let Ducard die... umm... yea. Bats DOES have to save him. He would never willingly let anyone die... even a criminal.

Oh, and the fight scenes were too crazily shot. I couldn't tell what was going on. It's a shame too since saw them in the special features on the DVD and the fights are actually really cool.

Other than that... perfect!

Batman is pretty dark, I could see him letting a criminal die. Not killing, just not saving. Makes sense, especially in the early days when he was full of hatred.

Great movie. Brings the Batman franchise back up to the level it was at after the first Batman movie.

Although Natalie Portman didn't get a chance to play the role of the obnoxious whore in Batman Begins I think Natalie might be tainted...Because she was doing a rap music video on Saturday Night Live and she was cursing like a sailor. By the way I like Batman Begins but the score in my opinion is kind of forgettable it wasn't as memorable as the Danny Elfman score in Batman and Batman Returns.

I thought it was okay, but definitely not more than that. Maybe I had too high expectations when going in to see it, but I remember that I was quite disappointed.

The best Batman movies are surely the ones by Mr. Tim Burton. Pure genius.

I thought Batman Begins was the best Batman movie, bringing the franchise to a whole new level. The storyline is well done and amazingly dark, and Bruce is also a well done character. The acting is well done, and there's a lot of great actors playing neat characters in the movie. I especially liked the character Lucius Fox (Morgan Freeman).

I didn't think Katie Holmes was as bad as people claim. The love story wasn't at least overdone like with the former Batman movies (Vicki Vale, Selina Kyle, Chase Meridian). As for the soundtrack, there's no heroic theme for Batman, but he does have his character theme. The music is quite dark and ambient, and it works well with the movie. A happy "na-na-na-na na-na-na-na BATMAN!!" theme just wouldn't have worked with Batman Begins.

It's my favourite movie, actually. I thought it was interesting that they chose the villains they did for this movie, which is a whole new storyline. They're all relatively unknown compared to, say, The Joker or Two Face or The Riddler.
