Agreed. It's more of a hassle having right next to the A button than it is useful. If I type in capitals, I use the Shift key, like REAL PEOPLE! Also to get points across when necessary.

if it were up to me... no one except for me wuld be able to type in all caps... there really is no way around it....a non-caps rule is too ridiculous they shuld just leave the cap rule off and keep dealing with caps like they used to
