I think they are just trying to make it a nice, safe place for everyone. I can understand their concerns over spamming because other Forums i use have Threads destroyed by going off-topic. And they do make tons of PM space available for people who want to have private conversations. Keep in mind that there are a lot of young people who use this Forum for help on the games and they shouldn't really have to read offensive stuff.

the odd comment off topic makes nooooooooo difference! especially the ones on GIRLFREINDS because actually they werent off topic really! and they shut it down! and EVERYONE LOVED THAT TOPIC!
