No, not really. In my opinion, at least.

I've used Macs extensively, I'm not just speaking out of my ass on this one.

Macs recently had a bad problem where the drivers could be coaxed into allowing one to have root access or some such. The find was not used mallaciously my most, as there is a low % of people using macs. Personally, I <3 thier OS. But it is not perfect. A lot closer than windows is, but not perfect.

OS X is nice, but I'd much prefer Windows.

    I really like iMovie though...

Oh so that's why you call it Microsoft! LoLzOrDs.

I hate Microsoft because they're annoying, scamming b*st*rds. I work on Linux

The problem could only be exploited through a third-party NIC card. No one uses a third-party NIC card with a Mac.

Apple seems to be pretty big on accessorizing, so I don't think many people use much 3rd-party anything on a Mac.

It was proven with a third-party card but there were fears that the built in AirPort Wi-Fi card would also be vulnerable.

yes.. .that sounds a lot more familiar! Case in point; MAC has a damn good thing going for itself, producing branded hardware and software. Though, if they ever got market share, I am sure they would be bigger bastards than M$ ever proved

Microsoft sets this up in thier eula from 2000 on; so yes, XP has this as well. It is yet another perfect reason to hate windows. Yes, this cuts microsoft out of most any liability they can be pitted against. Is this the security you pay money for?

At the same time if I made a product that virtually 100% of businesses use (at least their grunt employees do), I would have something like this in my EULA.

Aye agree. Much as the GPL has; difference is, open source wise, your not paying for support that has no liability, and hardly and interest to see your problem solved.

    On a similar note...

THE APPLE SOFTWARE IS NOT INTENDED FOR USE IN THE OPERATION OF NUCLEAR FACILITIES, AIRCRAFT NAVIGATION OR COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS, AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL SYSTEMS, LIFE SUPPORT MACHINES OR OTHER EQUIPMENT IN WHICH THE FAILURE OF THE APPLE SOFTWARE COULD LEAD TO DEATH, PERSONAL INJURY, OR SEVERE PHYSICAL OR ENVIRONMENTAL DAMAGE.
