Why we all hate Windows

I don't really hate Windows because I only use it to play games. I have a very minimal setup so if something goes wrong at least I can narrow the problem down. All my other computer use is relegated under Linux.

He is stepping down in june of 2007. Baulmer is already taking the helm so to speak. Gates will ease out of his position ~ the transition has long since been started

I don't hate windows. I hate linux, mac, unix and most other desktop OS though. Servers are another thing all together.

I don't hate Windows. At least not Windows XP; it's the first one in years to actually work. All of the versions from 95 up until XP royally blow though. Honestly if you're running, say, Windows 98, just save yourself some time and toss your computer into the middle of the street now.

Windows works just fine, it just happens to be cool to bitch about it. Much like it's cool to complain about Internet Explorer, champion alternative low-budget computing methods, and make in-jokes relating to CK's and CK's only.
