    just an off-the-wall question

how many of you invest time and/or money into martial arts/fencing/archery/other nerdy sports?

i myself love thai boxing and want to get into capoeira...tried fencing but it's pretty expensive and difficult....love archery!

    Lol, "other nerdy sports."

I used to do martial Arts, but just stopped caring after a while.
After that, I got into good old fashioned American boxing.
The itching sensation is a good thing.

I used to take kung fu lessons about four years ago but I stopped since it was getting rather expensive and I had my GCSE's coming up

I'm on the waiting list for fencing classes. Because I have an unhealthy obsession with swords, and no other means of keeping fit

I did fencing for three years and kickboxing for three months. Karate for two months. Fencing was loverly, but the equipment and stuff is pretty darned expensive. Did try archery once, but soon (after like 15 minutes soon) it became pretty clear that I sucked at it.
This subliminal message could be meant for YOU. But it's probably not. Move along ;D
