Cowboy Bebop.....

I liked this show, although I think it's a bit overrated. In any case it was nice how the series slowly revealed the backstory of Spike and Jet and how all those crew members got involved. There were some crazy episodes like "Mushroom Samba" which provided quite a few laughs, but there were dramatic episodes as well, and the ending was quite emotional. The soundtrack was fitting, and I really liked "Tank!" (the opening theme), although there were some other standout tracks as well. The animation was alright, and at least the Japanese voice actors did their job properly. All in all it's a series worth watching.

Cowboy Bebop is one of those timeless anime that you can watch 10 years later and still enjoy it. There have been other anime in the same style who may have improved on its formula, but they don't render Bebop obsolete. It's not one of my all time favourites, but it's definitely one of those shows that you should see if you consider yourself a serious fan of anime.
