can you hear me in the void?
Hmm...personaly I don't think the game detracts from FFX at all, but I think FFX is a far superior game. The battle and leveling system is more traditional final fantasy-ish than tens, but in my opinion the story is not really suiting of a FF. Change isn't a bad thing, but i don't think it's a format other FF's should follow.
X-2 is just to make up for X's sad ending i guess...anyway...X-2 is 100% not fun at all...X wins it alot...

The Point of X-2 was to torment its consumers.
Owen made this sig. R.I.P.
The point of the game is to make money and there is nothing wrong with that as far as I'm concerned. Square would not be making games if it was a charity. The game is an attempt to get more people interested in the series by making it more poppy.. I found they made it mroe fun and a refreshing change.
I cringed at the first scene, everyone does, but after that its fine. The game has its serious parts, funny parts, and boring parts. I thought the dressphere system was unique but too easy, and I liked the story.
Yes, this game gave me a better understanding of FFX, and I got 100% on second attempt, so there wasnt a stone left unturned in the game basically. It gives a lot of insight to the first game and I recommend if you play this game, to leave your seriousness at the door. This game was not made to be a breakthrough in gaming genuis, it was made to make money and fill the gaps in the original game. This is not even an attempt to create a new style of Final Fantasy for a lasting change.. they've been doing that from the day Final Fantasy 7 came out, but whos complaining?
I'm a big fan of the Mars Bar Diet; You don't eat the Mars bar, you stick it up your arse and let a rottweiler chase you home.

Gee guys I know all of you like that witty remark from Mirage, but if you only look at my postI know you guys are answering the name of the thread but technaclly it's not the actual question. So my question to everyone who has played this game is this? After completing X-2 did your overall experience and love for the FF10 universe increase or decrease.
Actually I really don't care an answer is an answer I guess, but whatever.
Oh. I'm sorry I didn't see that.![]()
Well...I don't believe it changed too much. I thought the game was rather unnecessary, but I still thought it was moderately enjoyable, so it didn't hurt the FFX universe to me, but at the same time, I didn't think it really heightened my enjoyment of it because of it being unnecessary.
Mine increased IT'S GREAT!!!!!!!!!![]()

Well
Ya Square probably saw alot of profit in it
plus its not THAT bad of a game
It's always nice to have an official ending, isnt it?
I just think x-2 it was kind of weak.
It was set up from the beggining... When they started ffX.
Those bastards!
...
Who am I kidding....
I love Square.![]()
Yay for Quisty!
YAAAAYYY!
Necessary, probably not. Enjoyable, yes. I've got to say (because I loved FFX) that I was whole-heartedly sad at the end of X. I'm just glad the story of X-2 ended with something that made me happier.
