    Default Love has no Age.

(Edited because Kikimm made a very good point: This is for guys AND girls!)

I forgot to Post this Thread earlier on when I made the Showers one. I'd love to know some opinions on this from you guys.

This afternoon I saw one of my friends from way back. I hadn't seen him for a couple of months and it was good bumping into him again and catching up on old times. It also gave me the chance to call his girlfriend a baby-napper and cradle-snatcher :chuckle:

My friend is 23 years old and his girlfriend is a staggering 41 years old! That's like, an 18 years age gap! Seeing as this is in London, she is quite literally old enough to be his Momma. I don't know what she sees in him but I know what he sees in her :chuckle: I think he might even be a little bit in love with her. They've been dating for about a year or so.

Devil Man's question is simple this time around. What's the maximum number of years someone could be older then you before you say, 'No way! You're far too old to be dating me!'

I am in my twenties, and I'm a guy, so I'd say 5-7 years is my absolute limit. A girl could be 5-7 years older then me before I'd say, 'Noooooooo'!

What about you guys? There's a poll up there too, so feel free to click on an option

Oh, and for those that are in commited relationships or have got a wife/husband... pretend your single for this Thread Devil Man grants you a temporary divorce.

I'm more....okay with guys being older than I am with them being younger. Even though you never mentioned that. ;P (Oh I meant you never mentioned them being younger!) I wouldn't date someone who was 2 years younger. Although I'd probably go...4 years older. At the most. 3 is best. I'd have to be completely infatuated to go 4.

    I dated a 52-year-old. That's a year older than my father.

None of those options is acceptable.
    Here's the rule:
    Take your age
    Divide by two
    Add seven.
    There, that's your answer.
*Note: This does not work if you are under 15.

I would say stick to within a year or two up to the age of 21. After that who cares. It's about mental maturity not age.

My boyfriend right now is 2 years older than me. That's my limit now, however, I've dated guys 5 years older than me before. Was it dumb? Yes, and I'd have to be TOTALLY in love to date someone that much older ever again...though I don't see me breaking up with Alan EVER, sorry guys!

Seeing as I'm about 115(Died in '91), I'm very picky.

I was debating this just last night, How many years is too far apart, not taking into consideration maturity. I'd say 5-10 ignoring maturity levels. But since I only like nerdy guys 2-3. You have to be on my level. My boyfriend's my age.

Right now in my life 2-3 years is the limit since I'm 20, so anything beyond that goes into potentially illegal territory. As I get older, provided I haven't already married, I'm sure my range will increase.

Age means quite little to me. I'd date anyone my age and up. Not anyone younger (12 and under) because I feel it's too young if you're not really even a teen yet, that age is too naturally impressionable and naive. It wouldn't feel right. I'm sure most of you would agree.

True love is blind. But I (personally) would probably only go for someone within four years.

19 and 24, is the furthest I've been being on the younger side. I also look like I'm in my 30's, so when i'm with an older lady, it looks better.

I think that when you get older, the range increases. When I was 16, I didn't want to touch anyone who was 1 or 2 older than me. Now, it happens all the time.

i usually see girls who are a year or two younger than myself...it's hard to find anyone younger that i'm even remotely compatible with beyond small talk. i'm 24 so it only gets better from here i think

I don't think I'd be able to date a guy much younger than me. I just like older guys, I'm attracted to them more. I don't think I'd be able to date a guy more than 3 or 4 years older than me, right now. Anything more than that would be a bit wrong for me personally.
