I'm not particularly impressed by the directions Spider-Man 3 is taking. I never really liked Venom's character, I don't really care about Sandman and bringing the Green Goblin back isn't really creative at all. Finally, they decided to add Gwen Stacy to the mix. Make Dr. Octopus return for no reason at all to completely mess up the movie.
I think I know the direction where Spider-Man 3 is going I think by the end of the movie Peter is going to break up with Mary-Jane and get together with Gwen Stacy. When Harry becomes the Green Goblin he's going to kill Gwen in Spider-Man 4 by hovering high over a bridge and tossing her from his glider. Spider-Man saves Gwen from her plunge but it's too late the shock of the fall already kill her. I believe Gwen Stacy dies in a manner similar to the one I just described in the Spider-Man comics. As for Dr. Octopuss returning I have no idea why he's in Spider-Man 3 but hopefully his apperance is brief. I never did like Dr. Octopuss. Venom isn't so bad in my opinion he's better than both the Green Goblin and Dr. Octopuss combined! By the way what did you think of that blind woman who was smitten with The Thing? I didn't like that woman her voice reminded me of Kreia from the second KOTOR. In case you're wondering the reason why the director would make Peter break up with Mary-Jane is because Kristen Dunst ISN'T going to be in anymore Spider-Man movies after Spider-Man 3.
