I'd say Baten Kaitos, but Suikoden, Star Ocean and Disgaea get honorable mention.
Oh man, you're missing out on the best of them all. Keep an eye out for it, and don't be shy about spending a lot, it's worth it.
Chrono Cross is better.
Umm, I can't decide between Suikoden 2, Breath of Fire 3 and Grandia 2.
While I did really like Chrono Trigger, I am going to have to agree with MILF and say that I think Cross is better.
