If I was rushing to get somewhere that was really important I'd not help her. She obviously managed to cross the road earlier to go get her shopping so she can cross it again.
I'd help her with a smile on my face

I'm late already! Me more important, so sorry old lady!
I'd look around and see if someone else comes to the rescue. If not, then I'd help her.
I'd offer her help and when she says 'Yes Please Dear!' I'd laugh and run away, mwahaha!
I'd stand by the side of the road and giggle at her. It's a bad day and I need cheap humour man!
No one helps me with anything, so why should I help anyone else?
