Vaan - "Hey, you!"
Penelo - "Yeah, you! The one reading this sig at this very moment!"
Vaan - "Interested in playing FFXII International Zodiac Job system?"
Ashe - "But you have no knowledge of the Japanese language?"
Fran - "....We could help...."
Balthier - "That's right, Fran! Just click on Crossblades' thread on the very bottom of this signature and it will show you all license grid translations, magicks and tecks locations, and other changes that were made!"
Basch - "Don't forget though. Swap Magic is needed to play this game if you don't own a japanese PS2."
Vaan - "Also remember that if you played the original, you'll have an easier time playing the international version. We hope you enjoy the International Zodiac Job System experience. See ya then!"

Well, it's not much to go on, but the translation seems pretty intelligent. And it's good to see they've got space to actually spell out things in the battle window; "Song of Resilience" beats "RslnceSng" any day.
Looks pretty good. Especially the pic with the Souleater ability being used. The image from Goldor's mansion wasn't bad, either.

It looks pretty good. I'm really pleased with the translation and the spell window in battle looks great. Can't wait to play it.
I want this game for many reasons. First, the original was awesome. Second, this is the kind of thing I used to dream about. Daydream about, I mean... And this way I can further complete my collection. Then I'll need only find a copy of FF5... probably on the Anthology. And I'll have a legitimate copy of every Final Fantasy game 1 to 9. that'll be the day... The day of AWESOME!
Admittedly I don't have FF10, but I also don't have a PS2.
The project that was awesome, has fallen apart... oh well.
I recently got the Japanese FFIII NDS system and game. It's amazing how good the CG scenes look on the DS. The game has been fun so far but I don't understand a lick of Japanese. I can't wait for the English version.
Since it seems there still isn't too much storyline or dialogue in the game, that makes the game quite import-friendly. All you have to know is what the menus do, and you're all set to play the game even in Japanese. I'm still waiting for the English, European version of the game rather than getting a Japanese DS and the Japanese version of the game.

I'm pretty sure Nintendo cartridges are region-free, Sephiroth. Correct me if I'm wrong.
That's why I want to import this...but I have to hold on until the North American release....
All handheld games are region-free. I plan on selling the Japanese version when I get the NA one.
[quote=Sephiroth1999AD;1898953]I see. Though if the games are region-free, why did you get yourself a Japanese DS?
The system is the special FFIII crystal-white edition that is not available outside of Japan. I'm just a FF geek like that.
Bah, seems were ARE getting the crap names like Ingus and Arc (Seriously, what kind of name is Ingus?)
Hopefully your able to name them yourself..
