The Super Soft was in FFIX to cure (bah, what was his name...) Blank (!) stone status he got in the evil forest. It never existed in FFIV.

No. You can try to use normal Softs (Golden Needles) on the twins, but it just causes the game to inform you that their petrification can't be undone since they brought it about of their own free will.

Posts like that should be understood to refer to their immediately predecessors unless quote tags are used to prove otherwise.

As for your question, the alleged item has been referred to as both Super Soft and Basilisk's Eye, but it doesn't really matter since it doesn't exist.
