How cool is Q from Star Trek? He was like the kick up the arse that the cast needed once in a while to remind them that their safe little series of protocol's and rule's can quite easily be thrown back in their face thanks to some inventive fluxing of reality and reason.



What's your favourite Q episode/moment? Mine is probably "Q-Pid". Patrick Stewart as Robin Hood. 'Nuff said.

All the Q episodes I've seen are great. I don't remember the specifics of many of them, but my favorite may have been the one in which Q is stripped of his powers and seeks refuge on the Enterprise. The series beginning and ending are top-notch, too, though pretty bizarre.

The episodes with Q in them are always great. Q is awesome because he is not only close to omnipotent, he has a good deal of humour aswell and the Q episodes also have a good deal of historical references in them, which is always welcome.

I love Q! I remember there was this one female Q in one of the episodes of TNG which I believe fell in love with Riker or something. That was a funny episode.

But anything with Q is great.

Q is awesome, hilarious, and everything you could want from a recurring character. He's not nearly as cool in Voyager as he was in the Next Generation, but some of his instances there are funny, as well.

He should've had more appearances. Although that might've made him a bit played out.

Still, he's the greatest recurring character througout all the Star Trek series.

Q always made a good episode..though his character is annoying, that's why he's so well-liked, since he has a playful contempt for the lesser races that he treats like ants
