Best Love Story

id have to say FF8. the characters are interesting and believeable and i just think the love story works extremely well in FF8 and has some truly romantic scenes.

Ah...right. The son of one random goofy guy's second love meets up with the daughter of his first love and they bitch at each other because that girl was with his rival which adds more cheap drama. Said girl is brainless and shallow. Guy is stoic and off-standish from reaching out to girl. Then girl falls down and all the emotional barriers of guy vanish and he LOVES HER!!!!!!

Very believable. I think that happened yesterday to a guy I know. Even the part where he goes into space.

ff8 love story sucked. rinoa and squall is so overrated. how the hell does squall just all of a sudden have this intense love for rinoa. its not even slowly gradually growing into a love. it was one minute, squall is emo and thinks rinoa is annoying. the next minute he has this huge desire to be with her. the game was really fun...but the love story was just dumb.

ff9 love story was great. i was happy to finally see some cocky attitude main character. whoever said ff8 was more believeable, your wrong. it is more believeable to see a cocky, flirtatious guy like zidane go for a girl than a emo dude like squall going from "i hate life" into "omg...rinoa is my life"

People change after awhile. I didnt get on with my ex very well at first, but then we hung out more and got to know each other. I think Squall had feelings for Rinoa the whole time, but was so stubborn, he refused to accept his feelings for her or allow anyone else to see them.

I believe thats why he acted so cold towards her. He didnt want people getting close in case he lost them again.

lol, from what i saw in disk 1, squall showed no feelings towards rinoa. at all. he was still all about missions, all the way up to the assassination of edea mission. which was the end of disk one. he started feeling something for rinoa at the END of disk 2. and that wasnt even his choice. he was pressured by all his friends to save rinoa. than he goes and fights edea which is the end of disk 2. disk 3 out of nowhere, out of the blue!, he starts crushing over her like crazy.

I agree that Final Fantasy IX's romance was the best but i also think tidus and yuna was a really good love storyy especially casue the sad ending between them.another under rated love story is cecil and rosa for its time it was a pretty good love story.

because ff8 focuses on squall and rinoa. im not saying squall and rinoa arent suppose to love each other or anything. im saying, ff8's love story sucks. you dont just love someone out of the blue like that. how the hell are you gonna be some serious SEED who dont care about anything but missions one minute, than a guy who cant stop thinking about a girl the next.

FF7's the scene at the end of dic 2 was lovely, and made me wish I had played with Tifa more, and unlike 8 Cloud's personality and love developed well and not shakily.

FFX by far is the most romantic.
I choose 10 because i never really played and understood IX because i didn't like it and to be honest with you I thought that FFVIII didn't have a good love story. Squall and Rinoa's romance was sorta awkward to me.

I mean 10 is so romantic and adorable. Tidus and Yuna didn't love each other for looks or whatever. They had a much deeper connection. The spring scene makes their love story so much more romantic and even though the ending is sad, its bittersweet in a way. (SPOILER)Tidus knew that in order to keep Yuna alive they were going to have to kill Yu Yevon and that meant that he was going to die too. He wanted Yuna to live so much because he truly loved her so he sacrificed himelf for her. How is that not the most romantic sweetest thing ever ?
