You would have better luck Google-ing, Wiki-ing, Gamespot-ing, IGN-ing, or GameFaqs-ing than EoFF-ing.

The game never came out in America and as far as I know it hasn't been fan translated yet. I don't really know anything about the story.

Star Ocean: Fantastic Space Oddysey wasn't released outside of Japan either.
Anyway, the only way you'd be able to understand SO: BS is if you knew a significant amount of Japanese or if there's a transltation patch somewhere, though I've never heard of such a thing. The first SO was translated, so you can find a patch for that. Beware. use Snes9x for it, as ZSnes crashes all the time (seeing as SO is one of the two SFC games that maxed out the data allowed for a cartridge, with Tales of Phantasia).
