This is how it works;

Each member will be allowed to place one "brick" into the bridge. It must be 50 pixels by a 50 pixel big, no more, no less. It must be within the usual TOS stuff so we don't end up having to demolish the whole thing. One brick to a member. If you wish to "amend" your brick you are more than welcome to, and I'll try to depatch/repatch the bridge. It may topple over though.

As for the content of the brick, anything you want really! The only stipulation is that it has to touch the size of the picture (50 pixels squared) at the top and the bottom, otherwise we'll end up with some serious structural integrity problems. But apart from that, let rip and have some fun with it!

I seriously question the wisdom of allowing people who cannot read specifications the chance to work on a bridge to the moon!

Yeah, HMAO decided to leave the community some time ago and kind of left me high and dry when it came to the Bridge to the Moon, so I'm not sure about the current status of the project. I may go back to constructing the bridge myself, but I'm so far behind it would be quite a task to trawl through everyone's entries to find out who isn't in my last iteration of the ladder (which is about half a year old now give or take). If someone else is willing to host a website covering the bridge to the moon then that would be great, primarily because my "old school" method of doing it wasn't exactly the best.
