You need to beat the game (defeat Zeromus) with that character in your party to unlock their respective Lunar Trial's door. Palom and Porom share a trial, so you have to beat the game with both of them on your team to unlock their trial.
But I already killed him, can I still kill him again?
Well, yeah, just go through the final dungeon and complete the game again. Also keep in mind that you have to wait until the credits are over and it gives you confirmation of the specific doors being unsealed.
