Yar, it be a travesty that no landlubber felt it necessary to be making a thread about International Talk Like a Pirate day yet! What kind of barnacles be ye? This be me favourite day of the year, the day when nobody be looking at me strangely when I ask 'em to keelhaul the mainmast and batten down the poop deck.

I've been Y'arrring and D'arrring most of the day.
It's my own little way of celebrating this wonderful event.

For those of you not skilled in talking like a pirate, there's this informative video.
As for myself, I'm too lazy. I'll probably do a line or two throughout the day, but it usually takes me too long to figure out how a sentence would properly be translated into pirate.
