They're actually my favorite couple in the game. Even more than, say, Squall and Rinoa.

Clearly they have a lot of interests in common: the welfare of their children, the concerns over the Sorceress power, the foundation of SeeD and gardens.

Cid's good-natured demeanor is a nice counterbalance to Edea's quiet and brooding ways.

I liked them enough to try my hand at writing a pathetic excuse for a fanfiction with them as the main characters.
