It's definitely not necessary, and honestly, it really doesn't matter once you upgrade your regular guns such as the Cerberus, Hydra, and Griffon. The only gun I'd suggest getting is the Model Gun (on the stage where you help out the boy). You'll need 250,000 gil to modify it into the ultimate weapon, a 99 shot high powered pistol.

If you beat the game will it allow you to replay missions to get the weapons you missed? Or will the weapons dissaper when you try agian the 2 time around??
