I would pick Tidus here. Not only does Tidus have Squall beat on the level of athletic ability and agility, but he's also got the motivation and spunkness to keep his head up in the fight even if Squall would deliver a strong blow to Tidus. When I picture Squall taking on someone in a one-on-one battle, I seem to refer back to the opening of FFVIII and the fight vs. Sefier. I can see Tidus landing a few more gashes on Squall's face.

I think he was the only one to think of this IN A LOGICAL way; not a fanboy,tidus/squall hater, or idiotic way...

Squall with a yellow hp will be enough to kill tidus...1 hit of renzokuken=9999 and plus all of the 4-5 hits and plus lionheart every hit 9999 tidus die 1st though with initiative junctioned...

Why are people always comparing in-game battle mechanics and the damage the characters do to show how powerful they are? It doesn't make the character any weaker if the game doesn't allow you to do 999,999,999 damage. :rolleyes2 I think Squall would win just because he's more trained. Tidus did become a guardian, but he still had no proper battle training, and he couldn't even lift the sword at the beginning of FFX. Tidus has some strong points too, such as his agility and speed. If this turned into a popularity contest, this may give you some kind of an idea about who's more popular.

Why not tell her then help her to have a happier plgrimage an to be there for her for alot more moral support??? And at least when he left she could he sumwhat happier....
