Squall Vs Tidus

when i do VS things i dont do it stat wise. i you judged strength by stats, tidus could probably beat ultimecia, kuj and sephiroth at the same time (which we all know through common sense that he cant.) think about it storyline wise. seems as squall has the power of the GFs id say he would win. hes also a trained fighter.

Tidus' strength could only be determined by Squall's level anyways, just like anyone else Squall fights. So if Squall were at a low level like at the beginning of the game, it would be roughly the eqivilent of Tidus with an empty sphere grid. In which case Squall would lay a royal beating upon him. But if Squall was at top level, Tidus would have a full sphere grid and be able to top the gunblader. Think about it...

Both of them will find Cloud, and then, try to discover who is the most emo character in the series. And Cloud will win with easy.
Then, Zack Laguna and Zidane will show up, and kill them.

Squall would win, because of the power of the Junctioning system. Tidus may be able to reach 99999 damage with his Caladbolg, but that would be his undoing, because having that much damage doesn't matter. Speed is always the most important attribute in a battle between FF characters. The Caladbolg doesn't have Initiative. Squall can Junction Initiative. Squall strikes first, and his 9999 damage may not be as impressive as Tidus' 99999, but it will be enough to kill Tidus anyway. Then too, Squall can junction 100 Deaths or Pains to his Status Attack, and Tidus will fall that way.

im far from a tidus fanboy. i think he's the most fruitiest gay starburst ass kid.

as for your reasons why you think squall would win. it depends on what point of the game or whatever they meet. plus, i'm not to sure if this is 100% positive...but somewhere in ff10, i swear you could use one of those ability spheres to attack first also...same thing as an inititive.

he wont have break limit damage. but his attack would still do more than squalls in the beginning...unless squall somehow draws some high level magic early in the game. squall only does like...200 - 300 some damage in the second disk.

I would pick Tidus here. Not only does Tidus have Squall beat on the level of athletic ability and agility, but he's also got the motivation and spunkness to keep his head up in the fight even if Squall would deliver a strong blow to Tidus. When I picture Squall taking on someone in a one-on-one battle, I seem to refer back to the opening of FFVIII and the fight vs. Sefier. I can see Tidus landing a few more gashes on Squall's face.

Ugh I wish emo had never been invented. It's ruining games that were made before emo was made.

While I like Tidus better, I think Squall would win a fight between the two as Tidus is more of a normal person and Squall is a mercenary with training.

Out of Tidus and Squall I say Squall. Squall could just say 'whatever' and Tidus would most likely start crying because he was getting no attention. Then Squall would walk over and shove his sword in Tidus's heart and then pull the trigger blowing up Tidus's heart.
