My little brother won't shut up about this game. On the other hand I don't play 3d fighters. I'm waiting for Street Fighter IV to finally hit but my patience is about to run out for the game.

I'm actually really looking forward to this. The last two were pretty good fighting games (no Soul Calibur mind you, but really, nothing is), and the fact that they're tying up the series in it's current incarnation and throwing in every character in the franchise history has me pretty excited. I'm looking forward to the Shaolin Monks style adventure mode as well. Heck, I should just go out and preorder a copy already since I know I'll buy it anyway.
I haven't played many 3D figs, mor of a mk trilogy. But I cannot wait if i can get this. Sub Zero Kicks so much arse.

My main complaint about the last two MK games was the fact that the fighting engine was broken as [img]/xxx.gif[/img][img]/xxx.gif[/img][img]/xxx.gif[/img][img]/xxx.gif[/img]. I'm hoping that won't be the case in MK: Armageddon, but given the track record of the fighting engine used in this particular game, I wouldn't doubt that the game will be broken.
Recently I bought one of the newest Mortal Kombat games, and I was so apalled at the gore that I brought it back to the store in disgust. It was way, way too gory for me. I can stomach some gore (I went through Warrior Within without a flinch) but Mortal Kombat just has way too much now. The first few early ones (MK1-3) were sort of morbidly funny, but the new ones are too much. I'm not anticipating any more Mortal Kombat releases at all.
I might get it but why exactly do they spell it kombat when it should be combat do they think its cooler that way?
