Sorceress Adel strategy

My strategy, in two parts.

1- Regen on Rinoa.
2- Kill Adel with something that is decidedly not kindness. Usually Zell.

Here's all you need:
Recover ability
Shell
Aura
*100% for earth defense
Triple

1. Shell on Rinoa
2. Triple on whoever has Aura
3. Triple Aura on party
4. Use limits like crazy (single target limits only of course)
5. Use recover on Rinoa every once in awhile

hmm, this seems reasonable enough, 10x, i'll give it a try Athough instead of 100% earth defense i think i'll try a triple float because i have like 14 quakes.
Oh and one more thing, where can i find some pulse ammo? (12 to be more specific) If I find that i can upgrade to lionheart, since i already have adamantine and dino bones

You can refine Pulse Ammo from Energy Crystals. Energy Crystals are won from Elnoyles. Go talk to the guy by the entrance of Esthar and he will morph into one and attack you.

yeah but that's one, i need 12, and which entrance? there are quite a few, oh and where can i find meltdowns and dark matter?

Each Energy Crystal refines into 10 Pulse Ammo. I think the guy is at the first screen from the car rental place. He shouldn't be too hard to find. He always respawns once you exit and re-enter the screen, too.

Draw Meltdowns from Gaylas around the Trabia region.

oukaaay...and where do i get 100 curse spikes from? And what about meltdowns?

The quickest way to get 100 Curse Spikes is by mugging them from the fixed Tri-Face encounters below the Deep Sea Research Center. To refine them into 1 Dark Matter, Siren HAS to be at level 100.

This battle is a bit tough for those whom have characters with levels
below 40. Yeah.. The minimum level to battle Adel is at Level 55. I have
managed to scrap through with that Level. Note that you can't harm
Rinoa (but you can steal from her ^_^. I think her HP varies from
4000 to 9036. Remember that once Rinoa dies, you will get a game over.

First of all, let's focuses on Adel's arsenal of weaponry:
Drain - she will only drains HP from Rinoa [700+ HP each time]. Stock
and cast Regen on Rinoa [She has the Regen spell right?].
Magic (Meteor, Ultima)- A character with a Spr stats of 50 will meet
their doom in 2 turns. Just junction Curaga to boost up Spirit. Cast
Regen on the entire part and it will help. Ultima is rare used but
it can does around 2000+ to each member and affects the entire party.
Make sure that everyone's HP is above 3000+ at all times. She will
unleash strong magic after this phrase: "Magical Powers are
concentrated on Adel"
Energy Bomber - 50% of the damage based on Vit and the other 50% is
based on Spr. So its damage isn't that great compared to the Meteor
or Ultima.

The best party is the guy's team, [Quistis can also be a good option
her.]. Irvine Kinneas and Zell's Limit Break packs a punch! Remember
for those who are using Zell, do not use the My Final Heaven Limit
Break and those who are using Irvine, do not use Shotgun Ammo, Pulse
Ammo and Fire Ammo. All group attacks should be avoid, including GFs
and group-based magic such as Ultima, Meteor, Quake, Tornado, etc.
Holy magic is highly recommended. Why don't use Squall? There are
about 55% chances that Squall will use the Blasting Zone and Fated
Circle in his finishing blow. His Limit Breaks are too damaging
somehow. This is the time when I found him least useful in combat.

No, the battle is tough for people with crappy Junctions. Levels mean nothing. In fact, the battle would be easier with low levels because Adel would be weaker.

totally. i just went of the first guide i clicked on.

well, except the meltdowns and the curse spikes i tried the sugestions but adel is just to friggin fast, he won't even let me use cerberus because he charges too slow, and yes the smashing blow and ultima are pretty much my doom if i don't have a big HP. i'm just gonna have to go back to Rinoa and junction everybody up real good + i can't get any meltdowns because i can't get out of lunatic pandora without rinoa.
