Yeah it's Adobe, didn't think there was any difference.

Adobe is a software manufacturer, just like Microsoft.
Adobe makes Photoshop, Photoshop Elements, Illustrator, etc.
Microsoft makes Windows, MS Office, MSN Messenger, etc.
So it makes very little sense to say "it's Adobe" in this context. Is it Photoshop Elements or is it Photoshop?

Also, Photoshop costs a ton of money. Several hundred dollars if you buy an old version, the newest version is nearly 1000 dollars. A lot of money, you say, but remember that this is a tool for professionals. 3D modelling programs usually costs 3 times as much as Photoshop.

If you have half a brain and can wait a little before getting the program/box, Photoshop CS2 can be bought from Adobe's store for €129 + VAT. Student/Teacher editions ftw.

The worse thing would be to pay 1000$ for Photoshop and then to find out that you pretty much have no talent what so ever.

I've got Aobe CS2 (not just photoshop, tons of other programs too :p) Student edition legally installed myself, in fact :p. I usually just use my pirated PS7 anyway, cause it's more lightweight and still has the features I need.
