Thread: The Fifth Element

What do you think of The Fifth Element? The only thing I didn't like about this movie was the opera scene which was intercut with the hand to hand combat scene.

I enjoyed (many times) watching this movie. It has a unique style. I thought some of the direction was a bit odd (namely all of the shaky nervousness displayed by so many of the characters), but overall it's very entertaining.

"Aren't you going to open your mail? It could be good news...."
    "...you're fired!"

Brian: "If I remember correctly, this is the Physics Department."
Chris: "That would explain all the gravity."

I LOVED this movie. Seriously. It was beautiful.

And I also liked Chris Rock's character in the film too. xD

This is such a wonderful coincidence, the movie is on TNT as I speak.

    MULTIPASS!

I like this movie a LOT. I thought it was funny the first time I saw it, and for some reason, it just gets better.

    Dallas' MOM...Oh my god...*dies*

    Reminded me of my grandmother.

I like the elemental bit to it. I've always been intrigued by the elements, so it made me love the movie more.
