I found this funny. During the Sun Stone side quest when the Sun Stone goes missing Magus instantly knows its been gone for 1300 years....
How the hell could he possibly know that!

It's not character-limited. It seemed pretty obvious by the surroundings that it's been gone for a while.

Nah, they just knew that it had to have been stolen during one of the eras that they could visit. Guessing which one would have been fairly easy.

Magus was pulled into a time nitch right? Meeting Ozzie he must have undergone lots of study of the times.
And slight chances are he may have had more than 1 confrontation with Lavos. So that could mean he had existed in multiple time frames.
