I think Robert Downey Jr. is an inspired choice because nobody even considered him. The least obvious choice has paid off big time for Marvel in the past (Hugh Jackman, Tobey Maguire, Stephen Dorff) and I solidly believe it will work again.
Well, it does make sense, given Iron Man's alcoholism.
Robert Downey Jr. is a pretty good actor, too, you know.

I was almost sure the movie was due out this December. 2008! *dramatic no sequence* too long a wait. This is going to be like Advent Children all over again. Well at least I still got Transformers due out next summer.
Y'know... It just might work... Especially, if they connect Downey's past with Tony Stark's. Y'know... make it like the actor and character are the same...

I can't see what internet meme they put into this movie. Oh boy, oh boy!
It was only a matter of time Hollywood would stumble across him.
IMO this should of been above X-Men and Spiderman sequels. All that wasted time on X-men 3 could of gone into a masterpiece of one of the greatest marvel characters ever. Iron Man. Ozzy Osbourne making guest appearence (if only).
