Seriously though, maybe the "W" means there are two Juncion MAchine Ellones? as "W" seams to be used for "2" in FFVII and Presumably some of VIII i'll check.

Except 'W' was another example of the botch job Sony did on FF7, as it was 'X' in the original japanese.
