Finally, no having to get the healer to hit the sleeping character.

Awww, I kinda liked the fact that it had an unusual and slightly risky way of being cured. =(

That's good to hear. I didn't mind the camera in something like KH even though many people did (because you could still control the camera), but the camera in FFX bothered me a lot, and you couldn't do a thing about it. For example, the 10 Sphere Hunt mini-game at the end of FFX is a nightmare because the camera rotates very slowly and usually prevents you from seeing important things, such as the spheres.

There was also an Alarm Clock item in FFIV, and possibly others, that cured sleep.

Not that I ever used them.

the alarm clock should be a key item that has infinite uses and is hard to get..involving a sidequest that is somewhat annoying but fun...

but it will just be another item purchased at your local item-mart no doubt

im no too keen on the alarm clock idea. its not that i dont like it but i always liked waiting for the enemy to attack them or using a weak character to attack them and cure it. so you walk around with 100 alarm clocks 0_o'? strange but nothing out of the orinary. where do FF heroes keep those items?

Alarm clock? I'd rather it be a rooster. Smack someone with one of them, you bet they'll wake up.

alarm clock is use to cure sleep, but for me, the item in FF12( i mean healing item) all is useless (except that one cure silent) , i seldom use, coz the white magic can cover all.......

and the right analog stick, u must use it in certain place to reach the target place like on the way to The Ancient city. The map is full with mist and u cant see the direction, to reach the place, u ned to step in certain plcae and use the camera check which way is correct.

I think FFIV also had an item called Unicorn Horn, and it healed several status ailments, including Sleep. I'm not sure if FFVI had an item to heal Sleep, but I remember some creature suddenly appearing and waking up the characters after they've slept long enough. FFVII had many ways to prevent Sleep status, and FFIX had the Insomniac ability you could equip. At any rate, it's a nice addition to have an Alarm Clock item for healing Sleep. Does anyone know if FFXII also has an item for healing the Confusion status? That would be an even more welcome addition for me.
