    Ramen Juice, Yay or Nay!

I was making a cup of ramen and I always drain all the juice soupy stuff before I eat it to prevent mouth scalding.
In my mind it seems kind of weird, but what do you guys think.

Does anyone else eat their ramen juice-free? How do you like your ramen? Or do you like Ramen in general?

I tweak my ramen...put in vegetables and sometimes beef, pork, or chicken...thicken the broth slightly with cornstarch...ahhh.....oishii desu!

I drank it all the time when I was a kid, stopped for years for the same reason you do, and now I've started drinking it again cause it is nice. I just put an ice cube or two in there at first so it gets cooler faster. Or at least I am deluded enough to think that it does.

Yeah that's why I don't like the juice, but I don't like it to get to squishy. Sometimes I'll put it in the freezer for a bit but then it's just odd.

I don't eat the stuff often, but when I do I'll drain most of the juice. You have to leave some so the noodles don't go dry, but I like spoonfulls of noodles and not flavored water.

I eat my ramen mostly juice-free. I leave just a little bit so that the ramen won't get too dry.

You eat noodles with a spoon..? and whats wrong with flavored water? Most liquid "flavorers" are made of water.

There is way too much salt in the ramen soup base for me to even think of consuming it. Actually, I like cooking the noodles and leaving the packet thingy out all together, which is what I did for dinner tonight.

this posts reminds me of my first year at high school. There was an instant-ramen machine or something that, for a dollar, would dispense a cup of instant noodles of your choice. I always got the shrimp because I like shrimp. Then you put it in a special compartment and it would fill the cup with hot water. Used to be all I ate at lunch, until I got sick of it. I used to drink the juice once the noodles were gone 'cause it tasted good.

I keep the juice for last after finishing the noodles But too much is bad since it tastes too diluted then

    Heck yay!

I have, however, once had noodles cooked with pre-cooked sausages in the same pot, and then you drain the pot afterwards... it was surprisingly nice. This is what you do when you're a bunch of 12-13 year old guys camping in the middle of nowhere. I think we drank the juice seperately in a cup or something. I forget.
