    Default GERMAN MARIO!

    http://smwwtf.ytmnd.com/
This is supposedly the german cover to the unofficial Super Mario World strategy guide.

To give this a topic, what do you think of knock-off stuff like this? Pro Action Replay covers are notorius for bootleg artwork. I used to see it all the time in GameStop. I couldn't find any pics on the internet, but here is another odd piece of artwork from outside the U.S.

That looks like a digimon. Wth does a mario guide have to do with it?
It looks like the ground had a sex change.

Well, I think that is an awesome song.

Bootleg/knock-off art and the such almost always makes me smile.
Boy am I an unfunny ass.

The Super Mario World Guide cover art is in the link. The Digimon thing is just another example of strange cover-art.

In Germany Mario looks just like Mario.

The Yoshi looks awesome, and Mario resembles some sort of Knight.

Perhaps the makers of the strategy guide were afraid of being slapped with a lawsuit for putting official images on the front cover and so decided to draw their own version.
"As the days go by, we face the increasing inevitability that we are alone in a godless,
uninhabited, hostile and meaningless universe. Still, you've got to laugh, haven't you?"
