I like both. Cant say Ive noticed the difference. And there are no shops open right now for me to see if your theory is correct.
That's common knowledge.
I don't drink pop that much anymore, but when I do I prefer to have it in a glass with ice.
I prefer canned soda over the bottled soda.
Bottled heat just never quite did it for me.

Saying 'I want an orange coke' just sounds odd yet intriguing.
Glass and cans are ofcourse the best. Plastic is just meh. Probably because the metal and glass don't react with the soda as much as plastic does.
And no Jowy, no one said they used "coke" instead of "pop". However, the word "soda" was suggested.
