My husband's band needs a new host for their site. Any recommendations? Free is better (of course), but no ads.

I have loads of free space just as long as it won't be used for porn or warez stuff. You get your own cp management, email, database access, etc. No ads.

Payment? I accept homemade oatmeal cookies.

Do they have a domain name?

    http://www.i6networks.com/

Even if they don't, they don't necessarily need one; I mean, I haven't pointed mine towards space there yet xD

    I make fantastic oatmeal cookies.

I would just ask Sean, but he's hosted enough of my crap. xD

Hmm... Now I have options and things require thinking. How reliable are either of those servers? They're sending out their press pack so they need something really reliable.

Whenever my host goes down, I get an email beforehand. Usually the downtime is very early in the morning, so I've never actually been awake to notice any. The speed is good.

We use www.godaddy.com, but it does cost some money. Not a whole lot, but yeah.

You'll (or he'll) need to tell me how much space and how much bandwidth he'll need. Right now Miriel is getting 500MB space and 10GB bandwidth a month. I think that's pretty good for starting off. If he needs more space after that, just give me a holler.

He'll also need to update the nameservers for the domain to point to my server.

500MB and 10GB is probably plenty. All their songs and stuff are stored on MySpace anyway.

They've officially appointed me their webmaster so I'll point their domain name there as soon as I have the info and see if I remember how to do that.

    Here's their MySpace.
