You see, the only thing they can do ist busting the person who actually "stole" the copy. The very basis of P2P will not allow them to simply cut the line. It's physically impossible, unless they can bust every single user, that is 15% of modern state population.

The best way to prevent people from downloading it is stating that they'll catch everyone and thus scaring people off. No more, no less.

Does anybody know if FFX11 will be a offline game or both or just strictly a online game?

    FFXII is offline.

    FFX-11 however, will never exist.

    Why is that?

Mainly because Squeenix won't make nine more sequels to FFX.

It IS the real deal, because im playing it! Yes openly admitting that I have it. I was also sceptical when I saw it, but its true (if its the same torrent your talking about). Its not a BETA version, its the real thing.
And yes I know the morals of this arent very high, but I must be one of Square-Enix's favourite customers since I pretty much have bought all their games. Sometimes buying the same game twice because my brother is so clumsy and broke and least 4 of my games. I can understand if you dissaprove, but done start flaming my pms or usernotes or whatever.

    Jeepers, its FXII, not FFX11.

FFX11 would be the 10th spinoff of FFX (FFX-11). Based on how FFX-2 turned out, thank god that'll never happen

And yes, a torrent of FFXII was leaked out over the internet, for people to download.

Of course, you'll need a modded PS2 to play it.

Or buy those dvds that act like a swap trick. But yeah, it is still slightly modded, but not enough to void the warranty.

No, its a dvd. You put the dvd in, wait till it loads up a screen, flip the lid (or drive, whatever sort of ps2 you have. And it only works when you have built in 2 little minuscule plastic parts that slot into some holes), change to the copied or outer region disc, press x. The dvd + plastic parts cost around 20 euros for me, thats not a lot.
I would never buy something to play copied games for 200-400 dollars (which is a pretty big margin i might add), i could buy loads of games for that.
And please dont triple post :P You can edit your posts by clicking on edit, surprise surprise.

Anyhow, ill be ordering the american game in about a month because i want the proper game on my shelf.

I've heard of this on Gamefaqs. Well, it's nice to know that it's true I guess.

I'm just happy waiting for it...

But is it good so far, Croyles?

It is actually very good. Everything feels smooth, the dialogue, the voice acting, the character movements, the gameplay. The battling is a bit odd at first but you get used to it. I am constantly reminded of star wars, not just by the way things look, but the roles of the characters and overall theme etc, and yet, its very unique.
And there are TONS of fmvs!
