ok so iv just completed KHII on normal (if that makes any difference) and was wondering if anyone knows what to do to unlock the secret ending? and is it really worth the trouble of unlocking it?

Well, I personally think it is, just for the extra stuff you get to see.
You can unlock it by completing the journal, doing everything in it -- you absolutely have to do this if you're playing Beginner or Normal difficulty. If you don't want to deal with all that (I sure as heck didn't), beat the game in Proud Mode, which really isn't as intimidating as it sounds.
Yea iv started a Proud game and have just whooped Seifers behind on a basic duel lol
its impossible to get it in beginner mode, only with 100% JJ in normal, and beating proud
Try it in proud mode; it's a pain in the ass to fill out the journal.

iv got 93% of the game done now (as apposed to 83 the first time i completed it (and I only completed it again because my brother wanted to see the ending))and there is a certain satisfaction to be able to complete a game fully. Toughest challenge so far: getting the trash up the hill in less then 15 seconds, my time: 14.83
