I read somewhere how It's a remake of infernal affairs. It looks okay-ish though, I'll probably end up watching it.

    I'm so excited for this!

Scorcese, Damon, DiCaprio, AND Nicholson? Are you kidding me? That's just gold right there.

I'm betting you this is gonna be one of the best movies this year.

Martin Scorsese delivers again with this one. The plot is twisting, the deaths are brutal, and the acting is amazing.

9\10 I recomend seeing The Departed, it's worth an eight dollar ticket

I'm going to go see it despite Dan's rabid hate for it being a remake of the Chinese original and threats that he will disown me if I see it.

    I'll take my chances.

I went to see it last night. And I adored every last minute of it. Its like Ive been waiting for a film like that. Just everything in it was just perfect, except Matt Damons girlfriend, she annoyed me. But man, Leo has gotten hot! Goaties are in for me

But by far, I think Jack Nicolson, Mark Wahlberg and Martin Sheen were the best actors in it. Jack Nicolson in a shirt saying "Irish" just cracks me up and Im so getting the OST!

Yeah, this movie kicked serious ass. Everyone was great - Wahlberg was awesome.

Oh, and the music was awesome.

Fantastic. The story and acting (especially Di Caprio, Wahlberg and Nicholson) were fantastic. The only slight downer was the last 15 minutes but, frankly, I don't care!

Best moment: Wahlberg in a tracksuit with bags over his shoes. (Anyone else think Wahlberg was under-used? That's by far the best performance I've seen from him).

I love Wahlberg's dialogue, the "c word" being used alot by him, which made the whole cinema crack up! But I have to say I was moved to tears with Martin Sheen's final scene.
