Yeah, and this one is better because anything Tina Fey writes is instantly gold. I should NOT enjoy Mean Girls as much as I do.
The main differences between the two is that 30 Rock is meant to be a comedy show while Studio 60 is a drama ABOUT a comedy show. Both of course revolve around the same concept, but one seems like it will go for more laughs and wacky characters while the other seems to be more in the frame of getting behind the scenes to deconstruct how a show like that would get put together, a la The West Wing did for the White House.
Plus, one is half an hour long, 30 Rock, the other a full hour, Studio 60.
