[A] Green-haired Dude
Well I haven't been drawing much, but last night I was pretty bored so I tried to tone up my skills a bit.
First I drew the old version (obviously) and showed it to a friend who critisized the hell out of it, and so he helped me with a new version (just explained a few things to me).
So tell me what you think, what could I improve? Also, I'm still so sketchy with making a good solid line, any tips on how I can improve that?
"... and so I close, realizing that perhaps the ending has not yet been written."

The mustache looks funny but the skin shading is great. :3

it's not fun, don't do it
I personally think the original is better.

the face and ear size is a whole lot better in the new one :] I would advice for more strand definition in his hair, and I love the moustache xD The shading is interesting too, and also a step up; the new one as a whole flows better and isn't blocky like the original.
If you care to try a third, I would suggest more dynamic line thicknesses, in dark areas make your lines thicker, in lighter ones, thinner etc, and refine his nose a bit, give him a nostril maybe >:]

His neck is pretty strange. But it's a nice try. Kind of looks like a Zelda NPC.
