Does killing Rats count as Animal Cruelty?

There are many animals that your friendly, neighbourhood Devil Man not only loves, but truly adores. He is a great animal lover!

He loves kitty cats (meow), doggy woggies (woof, woof!), chickens (yum! ), cows (moo!), parrots, hamsters, rabbits, horses, Ninja's, goats, sheep, bears, lions, tigers, yeti's, Big Foot...

All animals! He loves all of Mother Natures creations, truly! And he is a great believer in Animal Rights too, and totally supports the rights of, umm, animals...

Except for one

I totally hate, hate, HATE Rats! Totally hate them! I want to butcher every rat on this planet because they are just filthy scum-bags! They carry diseases, they are ugly and they stink. I wish death and destruction upon every Rat in the universe.

However, my topic is: does killing rats count as Animal Cruelty?

Because Devil Man likes to be called an Animal Lover (and many women have indeed called him that ) yet does his desire to annhilate Rats mean he is actually cruel to some animals?

You are a mindless hypocrite. A great believer of animal rights? Haha. No worthy animal lover would ever condone the extermination of an entire species, let alone hate an animal so much as to wanting to butcher them all. Your views on rats are ignorant and stupid. Have you taken pet rats into consideration? I'm pretty sure if you killed someone's pet rat you'd be in serious trouble. How about lab rats, then? I'm pretty sure if you killed them all off all the scientists who are researching cures for cancer will want to test on you instead, and all the people who are waiting for cures from such research will happily see to it. How about the various native rats of your country, some which are endangered, and don't interfere with humans? Yeah, how very fair on them. How about all the other rats that never done anything with you? Yeah, kill them all of because you hate them. There goes the food chain and the multitude of species that require them as a food source - and oh lookie, more roaches because you killed off a main predator of them.

I'm sure you carry lots of diseases too, and are probably not the best looking person in the world. Hating an animal just because it carries disease is just stupid - every wild animal carries disease. And as far as your ugly statement goes, it's all subjective. Cuteness is irrelevant to morality - calling them ugly is just ignorant. I suppose this is "ugly":




ZOMG! EWWWW!! THEY'RE SOOO HIDEOUS! I HAVE TO LOOK AWAY! I hate overreactive turds like you who blindly follow false stereotypes and false information because of an irrational hatred rather than forming your own opinion.

As far as being cruel goes, it depends on the context. If you're killing a rat for pest control in a humane manner, then I wouldn't see it as cruel (but some view killing in general cruel). But if you're doing something like, say, burning it alive, or over the top cruel actions, then yes... it is cruel. But in the end, your attitude to rats is cruel.

In short: I hate people like you. People who say they're animal lovers, supporting animal rights, yet destory the principle of their beliefs by hating certain animals so much that they don't mind cruelty towards them. Or total extinction. As an owner of two pet rats, get stuffed. And for the people believing in his tripe, you can get stuffed too.
